Jurisdictions supported in v4.1.1

36 jurisdictions across Middle East, Africa, Asia-Pacific, Europe + North America.

Why jurisdictions matter

A single framework — say, PCI-DSS — applies worldwide, but the attestation requirements, retention periods, and statutory deadlines are set by the jurisdiction. Pulse Compliance encodes the jurisdiction-specific variations in the applicability matrix so you only see controls that apply to you.

The 36

  • Middle East (9): UAE federal + 5 emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman.
  • Africa (8): South Africa, Egypt, Kenya, Nigeria, Morocco, Tanzania, Ghana, Ethiopia.
  • Asia-Pacific (10): India, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Pakistan, plus one more APAC pilot.
  • Europe + North America (9): UK, Ireland, Germany, France, Netherlands, US federal, Canada (2 provinces).

How jurisdiction is picked

Defaults to your billing country. Override under Account Settings → Region. The override re-filters applicable frameworks immediately; existing cycles are unaffected.

Requesting a jurisdiction

If your jurisdiction is not in the list, use Talk to Sales. Legal verification runs before frameworks become self-serve available — see the Legal verification article for what that means.
