Framework legal verification explained
Why Pulse requires legal verification before self-serve, and what happens when verification flips.
What legal verification is
Legal verification is the step where outside counsel signs off that a framework's mapping inside Pulse is correct for a specific jurisdiction. Until verification completes, you cannot self-serve enable the framework in that jurisdiction — only Talk-to-Sales with staff-assisted onboarding.
What happens when your jurisdiction is NOT verified
The framework appears in the Pending legal verification bucket. Use Talk to Sales to reach a Pulse specialist who walks through your obligations and either enables the framework with staff oversight or flags it for the next verification pass.
What happens when a framework becomes verified
- An email fires to your tenant's compliance contact.
- The framework moves from Pending legal verification to Available.
- A HealthEvent is logged; the Change Timeline records the flip.
- Existing subscriptions are unaffected. Verification is a forward-only signal.
- No audit runs are retroactively invalidated. Historical evidence is preserved.
FAQ
- Can I request verification for my jurisdiction? Yes — ask your account manager or file via Talk to Sales.
- How long does verification take? Typically 4–8 weeks. Complex jurisdictions (federal + emirate, multi-language) can take longer.
- Who performs the verification? External counsel contracted by CitiXsys. The verified mapping is captured in the framework's
applicability_matrix.
