Pulse Agent versions and what they unlock
Which Pulse Agent builds unlock which tiles, and how to upgrade when you see a '—'.
Current minimum supported version
The minimum supported Pulse Agent version is 1.0.7. Older builds (1.0.6 and below) still send enough data for the aggregate Pulse Infra tiles, but most deep tiles and per-store drills render with a — placeholder.
What each recent build added
| Version | What it added |
|---|---|
| 1.0.6 | Baseline site-health snapshot (uptime, replication queue, last seen) |
| 1.0.7 | RFC-001 site-health fields — CPU, memory, disk, service uptime. Aggregate LP Dashboard tiles render on this build. |
| 1.0.8 | Normalised peripherals inventory, by_user and by_category breakdowns for LP, plus payment_method_mix. Per-store deep tiles need this build. |
Why my LP Dashboard shows '—' on some tiles
A — placeholder means the field you're reading is only emitted by a newer agent than the one installed at that store. Hover the placeholder to see the exact minimum version required. Drift Matrix's Agent version facet shows the full list of stores behind the baseline.
How to check your agent version
- Open Host Health for the store (or Store Fleet → Drill → Host Health).
- Look for the agent chip in the page header — it shows the exact version running on that host.
- The chip is green when the store is on the minimum supported version or newer, and amber when it is behind.
How to upgrade the agent
Upgrades are zero-downtime — the installer re-registers with the same install token. See Installing the Pulse Agent for the full runbook. Short version: download the newest installer from Account → Agent, run it on the same host as the current agent, and wait for the next snapshot (within 5 minutes).
