Command Center
Your executive dashboard with KPIs and attention items.
Overview
The Command Center is your Monday-morning view of the entire retail operation. It's designed for IT managers who need to know "is everything OK?" in 30 seconds.
KPI tiles
The top row shows 4 key performance indicators:
- Stores Online: How many of your stores are currently connected and syncing. A drop here means a store has lost connectivity.
- POS Active: Number of POS terminals that have processed a transaction or heartbeat in the last hour.
- Replication Health: Percentage of replication queues that are healthy (below threshold). Below 90% warrants investigation.
- ERP Sync: Status of the ERP connector — last successful sync time and error count in the last 24 hours.
Attention items
Below the KPIs, you'll see attention items — issues sorted by severity that need action. Each item shows:
- A severity badge (critical, warning, or informational)
- A description of the issue
- The affected store or component
- A recommended action
Click any attention item to drill down to the relevant detail page.
Store health matrix
The colour-coded store matrix gives you a fleet-wide view at a glance. Each cell represents a store:
- Green — All healthy, no issues
- Yellow — Warning-level findings
- Red — Critical issues detected
- Grey — Store offline or no recent data
Click any store cell to open the Store Fleet drill-down for that location.
When a card turns red
A red KPI tile or attention item means something needs action now. Common causes:
- Stores Online drops: A store server may be down or its internet connection lost
- Replication Health below 80%: Multiple stores have replication backlogs — check for a database lock or network issue at HQ
- ERP Sync error: The ERP connector has failed — check credentials and connectivity to the ERP server
