Alerts & Incidents
Real-time alerts with acknowledgment workflow.
Overview
The Alerts page shows real-time alerts generated from your iVend monitoring data. Alerts are created when health checks detect issues that exceed configured thresholds.
Alert severity levels
| Severity | Meaning | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Critical | Requires immediate action | Store offline for 30+ minutes |
| Warning | Needs attention soon | Replication queue above 500 records |
| Info | Awareness item | POS terminal version outdated |
Alert lifecycle
Each alert goes through these stages:
- Open: The alert fires when a threshold is breached
- Acknowledged: A team member clicks "Acknowledge" to indicate they're investigating
- Resolved: The underlying condition returns to normal, or a team member manually resolves the alert
Email notifications
Pulse sends email notifications for critical and warning alerts. Notification settings are configured per user under Account Settings. You can choose to receive:
- All alerts (critical + warning + info)
- Critical and warning only (recommended)
- Critical only
- No email notifications
Bulk operations
Select multiple alerts using the checkboxes and use bulk actions to acknowledge or resolve them at once. This is useful during planned maintenance when you expect alerts and want to clear them efficiently.
